The Ministry of the Environment (MINAM) awarded SKIC Peru the second Star of the Carbon Footprint Recognition Program, a climate action tool of the Peruvian State that allows official recognition of the efforts of public and private organizations to reduce their emissions of Greenhouse Gases. (GHG), through the measurement of its emissions based on the ISO 14064-1 Standard and the report of the actions to reduce or neutralize them.

The recognition was achieved after the third-party audit, where a verifier authorized by MINAM audited the calculation of the carbon footprint for the 2020 period, obtaining as a result the “Positive verification without non-conformities”.
