With the aim of exploring new markets, SKIC together with Dessau -represented by Ignacio Dünner, SKIC Corporate Commercial Director, and Andrés Lagos, Dessau General Manager- participated in a visit to Australia, organized by the Chilean-Australian Chamber of Commerce, to attend to the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC).

In this version, topics such as digital technology, the acceleration of the energy transition, investment in exploration and development of projects, global opportunities, redesign of the workforce and mining culture, among others, were addressed.

During the visit, the executives also held important meetings in Brisbane and Sydney with government agencies, clients, specialized research centers, technology providers, financial institutions and investment banks.

The conference ended with record attendance, exceeding 8,000 delegates from more than 110 countries and the participation of more than 500 speakers over three days, according to the organizers of the activity, who confirmed that the city of Sydney will once again host IMARC in 2023, following the success of this year’s event.
